We used to only worry about stingrays! And now there’s COVID-19. Bummer.

To all of our Guests,

We’ve always put safety as our #1 priority & that hasn’t changed. I wanted to share some of the items we’ve put in place to re-open in the safest manner possible.

Surf Camps We’re entering our 16th year in Coronado and I wrestled with this decision for a long time. With safety in mind, I made the decision to cancel all our surf camps for Summer 2020. This business is fun and getting kids out there to surf every week is a highlight for the kids as well as our staff. It was a hard decision to make.

Private Lessons We are shooting to re-open on Monday, June 29th. Private lessons, semi-private lessons and groups up to 9 people, from the same household, will be welcomed back with no contact air high 5’s.

There are guidelines issued from the California Department of Public Health and some additional guidelines that we’ve implemented.
You can access the link here.

Here are the Cliff’s Notes.

  • Contactless temperature checks for employees and guests
  • Single use wetsuit and thorough sanitation
  • Neck gaiter face coverings for instructors
  • Online liability waiver

I look forward to seeing you from 6 feet @ the beach.
